Heated hoses are used in bonding technology, filling and dosing systems, medical technology, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, extruder applications and R&D. Heated hoses are used where it is necessary to transport liquid, viscous or molten media from one location to another, such as chocolate, jelly or hot melt adhesive. In most applications, the temperature of the media needs to be kept constant at a specified value regardless of changes in ambient temperature.

The heated hose is suitable for use in temperatures from -40 ° C to 80 ° C and can be used in explosion-proof areas 1/21 and 2/22 if required.

The heated hose consists of a flexible hose through which the medium is pumped. The hose is temperature and chemical resistant. Wrap the heating element on the hose and cover it with insulating material. Possible insulating materials are polyamide, steel or silicone. The heating element comprises a thermal sensor. Accessories and fixtures vary with the application.

Heated hoses are usually specified by the required internal diameter, working pressure, operating conditions, voltage, temperature sensor and hose coupling.

Heated hoses can now be used around homes and farms. Winter is often used on farms to draw water for livestock in the northern climate.
