Before purchasing a polyurethane spray machine, you may want to know these:

1.The Booster Pump Drive System

2.  The Machine Output

   As you can probably guess, the term output refers to the amount of mixed spray material a polyurethane spray foam machine can deliver in a particular time frame. The output is an important consideration, as this impacts the speed and efficiency of the job.

  Generally speaking, spray foam machines with higher output have larger heaters and bigger output pumps. Many of today’s newer, hydraulic models are built with high-output performance in mind. A high-output spray machine is extremely useful (and often a necessity) for outfits that handle large commercial projects or other high-volume jobs.

3. The Working Pressure Rating

  A polyurethane spray foam machine's pressure rating tells you the level of pressure the machine will generate in the process of mixing the materials. It is important to ensure your spray foam machine's output and pressure settings align with those of your spray foam gun, as well as the components you are spraying. Always refer to the Tech Data Sheet for the pressure settings of the chemicals you use.

4. The Heating Efficiency

  Temperature is an important issue when using spray foam materials as it impacts the viscosity of the substances. These materials must be dispensed at the proper temperature to achieve the proper thickness and ensure a high quality, consistent product.
